During the seminar, LLM. Vũ Anh Sao shared practical perspectives on legal frameworks that protect the family in modern society, where forms of violence have become increasingly subtle and difficult to recognize. The session provided students with foundational legal knowledge while also encouraging critical and humane thinking among young people when approaching sensitive social issues.

LLM. Vũ Anh Sao and LLM. Nguyễn Nam Trung Shared Insights on Identifying Domestic Violence Behaviors

Continuing the program, Mr. Nam Trung introduced and provided a detailed analysis of the new provisions of the  Law on Domestic Violence Prevention and Control 2022, particularly the classification of 13 domestic violence acts into four main categories: physical violence, psychological violence, economic violence, and sexual violence.
For each category, he presented specific scenarios to help students better visualize the issues and develop the ability to recognize and respond appropriately in real-life situations. Through this approach, students were able not only to understand the law but also to learn how to protect themselves and those around them.

High school students explored legal knowledge in a vivid and engaging manner.

As part of the series of activities in response to Vietnam Family Day (June 28), the competition on the Law on Domestic Violence Prevention and Control 2022 was organized in a particularly engaging format: team-based role-play through real-life scenarios.
Rather than relying on conventional multiple-choice theoretical questions, the competition required teams to immerse themselves in realistic family situations and address them by applying legal knowledge combined with soft skills and humane values.

A Legal Learning Platform that Enhances Both Knowledge and Skills

Through themes such as resolving conflicts between parents and children, managing household finances, psychological violence in marriage, and parental pressure on children’s academic performance, each team presented stories that were realistic, relatable, and educational. The performances took the form of short plays, situational skits, and scenario-based videos, skillfully integrating key provisions of the Law on Domestic Violence Prevention and Control 2022. Students received enthusiastic support from the audience and high praise from the judging panel, composed of specialized lecturers.
Through this meaningful series of activities in response to Vietnam Family Day (June 28), organizing the competition in the form of real-life scenario reenactments helped high school students approach legal knowledge in a more accessible, vivid, and memorable way.
This initiative also demonstrates UEF’s sustained partnership with high schools in fostering life skills education, enhancing legal awareness, and nurturing students’ character from an early stage. In the journey toward developing well-rounded young citizens, UEF continues to create meaningful academic, experiential, and collaborative platforms that promote humane values, responsibility, and proactive engagement for a better society.
