UEF Welcomes Faculty Members and Students from Quy Nhon University for an Academic Exchange and Campus Visit

On the evening of May 14, the University of Economics and Finance (UEF) welcomed a delegation of administrators, faculty members, staff, and students from the Faculty of Political Theory, Law, and Public Administration of Quy Nhon University (QNU) for a campus visit and academic exchange.

The visit provided opportunities for professional orientation, and discussion, as well as sharing information on academic activities and training programs with the Faculty of Law at UEF.

The event was organized with the aim of fostering mutual understanding of each institution’s mission, educational philosophy, academic programs, and practice-oriented activities, while also strengthening collegial ties and friendship between students of the two universities.

QNU Students Visited UEF with Enthusiasm and a Spirit of Exploration

Representing Quy Nhon University (QNU) were faculty members from the Faculty of Political Theory, Law, and Public Administration, including M.A. Nguyen Thi Nhan, M.A. Tran Le Loan, M.A. Le Duc Hien, and M.A. Nguyen Khanh Binh, together with 180 second- and third-year students.

From UEF, the meeting was attended by M.A. Bui Quang Dong, Head of the Office of Student Affairs; M.A. Le Dung, Head of the Office of Academic Affairs; and M.A. Huynh Quoc Phong, Director of the Center for Corporate Partnerships.

Representing the Faculty of Law at UEF, the delegation included the Faculty Leadership Board, faculty members, representatives of the Youth Union and Student Association, club representatives, and student delegates, who warmly welcomed and engaged in academic exchange with the visiting group.

Exchange of Commemorative Gifts and Academic – Cultural Interaction

Representatives of both institutions exchanged commemorative gifts as a symbol of mutual appreciation and academic friendship.

At the opening of the exchange session, students from both universities quickly engaged in a series of vibrant cultural performances, creating a lively and welcoming atmosphere. In addition, QNU students expressed strong interest in learning about the distinctive characteristics, mission, vision, and historical development of the Faculty of Law at UEF, as well as of UEF as an institution.

Representatives of the leadership of the Faculty of Law at UEF provided an overview of the Faculty’s establishment and development, human resources, academic training activities, scientific research, practice - oriented learning, student movements, and corporate partnerships. Alongside this, a wide range of dynamic programs and student - centered activities were introduced, including community engagement initiatives, volunteer campaigns such as Green Summer and Spring Volunteering, as well as academic events and experiential learning activities such as Law’s Conqueror, mock trials, professional field visits to legal institutions, talk shows, and workshops.

These initiatives collectively contribute to a highly dynamic learning environment, enabling UEF law students to develop professional competencies, accumulate practical experience, and foster personal growth - an educational ecosystem that was comprehensively presented to the visiting QNU delegation.

Representatives from the UEF Faculty of Law gave a brief introduction to the Faculty.

QNU students gained a deeper understanding of the curriculum and the vision of both the Faculty of Law and UEF.

Faculty Representatives from Both Institutions Shared Their Reflections

Representing the Quy Nhon University delegation, M.A. Nguyen Thi Nhan expressed her sincere appreciation to the Leadership Board of the Faculty of Law at UEF and the UEF students for their warm hospitality, as well as for the meaningful exchange, discussion, and sharing that strengthened institutional and student-to-student connections between the two universities.

She also extended an invitation to UEF to visit and experience Binh Dinh Province and Quy Nhon University in the near future, with the aim of further enhancing academic collaboration and mutual understanding.

Student Union and Club Representatives Highlight Recent Activities

Key representatives from the Youth Union and student clubs of both universities further elaborated on the activities and collaborative initiatives undertaken in recent times, providing additional context to the exchange program.

The academic exchange at UEF not only deepened Quy Nhon University students’ understanding of UEF, but also created opportunities for students from both institutions to gain greater insight into one another. This interaction plays an important role in fostering closer ties and laying the foundation for meaningful and sustainable relationships between the two universities in the future.

In addition, visiting faculty members and students were able to share their initial reflections, expectations, and experiences during their first engagement with UEF. The QNU student delegation expressed their sincere appreciation for the warm reception and for the opportunity to explore the distinctive academic and student life environment at UEF.

Student Engagement Activities and Program Conclusion

Students from both universities participated in an interactive mini-game session and received meaningful commemorative gifts, contributing to a lively and engaging atmosphere throughout the exchange.

The exchange program concluded on a positive and memorable note. It provided students with opportunities to exchange knowledge, explore institutional culture, and establish valuable interpersonal and academic connections. The event also contributed to strengthening educational cooperation between UEF and Quy Nhon University (QNU).

It is hoped that this program will serve as a foundation for long-term collaboration, enabling students from both institutions to continue learning from one another and to further develop their academic and professional competencies.
