Pro. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Hung – An Academic Journey from Foundational Research to Global Impact. With over 300 Web of Science–indexed publications, more than 2,700 citations, an h-index of 26, and an i10-index of 41, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Hung has been consistently recognized among the Top 1% Highly Cited Researchers worldwide by Clarivate/Thomson Reuters for nearly a decade. This distinction reflects his profound interdisciplinary influence in computational mechanics, advanced materials, and cutting-edge engineering technologies. From his research trajectory at the University of Liège (Belgium) to his current role as Director of the CIRTech Institute at HUTECH, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Hung has continuously advanced interdisciplinary research and innovation. He is the founder of the Deep Additive Manufacturing Laboratory (DAM Lab), a holder of a U.S. patent, and has served as principal investigator or co-investigator in major international research projects, including VLIR-UOS, Horizon 2020 (EU), and the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation (Germany). Beyond his research contributions, Prof. Dr Nguyen Xuan Hung serves as Editorial Board Member, Associate Editor, and Editor-in-Chief of several prestigious international journals. His academic excellence has been recognized through numerous distinguished awards, including ICCES Distinguished Fellow (2025), Humboldt Digital Cooperation Fellowship (2021), and Outstanding Humboldtian (2019). Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thai Van Nam – A Sustained Academic Journey of Knowledge Creation and the Advancement of Sustainable Development. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thai Van Nam is currently the Director of the Institute of Postgraduate Studies (IPS) at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) and the Head of the ABIOLS Research Group. His academic and research endeavors are closely associated with sustainable energy, environmental engineering, environmental management, and environmental–health risk assessment. From earning his Master’s degree at Vietnam National University – Ho Chi Minh City (2003) to completing his PhD at Osaka University, Japan (2011), he has established a strong research orientation in water and soil resource management, life cycle assessment (LCA), and environmental modeling. With over 100 scientific publications, including 87 ISI-indexed articles, and impressive research indicators of 2,760/2,211 citations, h-index 26/25, and i10-index 41/41, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thai Van Nam has demonstrated a profound academic impact. One of his notable publications in the Journal of Cleaner Production (IF 10.0, Q1) stands as strong evidence of his capacity to translate applied research into meaningful contributions to environmental policy. From the role of researcher to that of academic leader, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thai Van Nam continues to inspire and make significant contributions to the development of Vietnam’s environmental science community.
Dr. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Mien – An Academic Journey from Classical Statistics to Modern Computational Statistics. Dr. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Mien is currently a lecturer at the Faculty of Mathematics and Statistics, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH). Her academic expertise lies in Mathematics and Statistics, with a strong focus on teaching and researching applied Econometrics. Her research interests center on the development and application of advanced statistical methods in epidemiology, finance, and economics. Notably, her work emphasizes the integration of classical statistical theory with modern computational approaches to address complex data-driven problems. With 653/564 citations, an h-index of 2/2, and an i10-index of 1/1, her scholarly contributions demonstrate steady academic recognition and promising long-term research potential. Dr. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Mien’s academic profile is distinguished by solid methodological foundations, practical statistical applications, and a flexible, integrative mindset that bridges theory and technology. Dr. Bui Quoc Liem – An Academic Journey Connecting Media, Cinema, and Contemporary Culture. With a strong academic background and rigorous training in professional communication, Dr. Bui Quoc Liem pursues interdisciplinary approaches that bridge media, Asian cinema, and cultural studies. His research focuses on the analysis of visual narratives, storytelling strategies, and cultural identity within the context of transnational media.
From his research and teaching experience in international academic environments to his role as a lecturer in Vietnam, he continuously expands academic frontiers in areas such as crisis communication, contemporary Asian cinema, screenwriting, narrative arts, and issues related to memory and cultural identity. As the author of numerous scholarly publications and an experienced lecturer, Dr. Bui Quoc Liem provides learners with in-depth knowledge, critical thinking, and a global perspective, contributing to a deeper engagement with media through dynamic and culturally rich spaces of dialogue.
