Merry Christmas to children at Thi Nghe Sponsorship Center

In the bustling atmosphere to welcome Christmas, on December 22, students from Service-Learning Leadership Network (SLN) and with more than 20 UEF student volunteers organized the program "Loving Christmas" for children at Thi Nghe Sponsoring Center.

Joining the fun with students and children were Mr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc - Vice President of the University, Ms. Ly Dan Thanh - Vice Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Ms. Dinh Nguyen Thien An - Deputy Director of the Community Connection Center Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Thuy - Deputy Director of Thi Nghe Sponsoring Center.
  
Coming early to prepare the program, the students were all excited because the children here were adorable and friendly. The content of the program was also carefully prepared by UEF students with many colorful Christmas performances, especially the scene "The Little Match Girl" was adapted with modern colors to make the children more enjoy the event.
 
In response to the love of UEF students, the children at the Thi Nghe Sponsoring Center gave teachers and students many musical performances which they had practiced so hard throughout the previous week.

The activity of making cards is the part that brings the most emotions to the students. Together, students and children have joined hands to decorate lovely cards for their loved ones. For the card-making activity to take place fully, many students had carefully and meticulously trimmed every detail of the card.
 


With the warm feelings of the children and teachers at the Thi Nghe Sponsoring Center, all the hard work of preparing for the organization has disappeared. A student after attending the program shared: "Hopefully in the future, I will participate in many meaningful volunteer programs like today to make a contribution to the community". Another meaningful and warm Christmas has returned to UEF students.
