Workshop: Awareness of doing charity work

University of Economics and Finance cooperates with the Lin Community Development Support Center to organize the "Giving Well University Tour 2021 - Investment for the future" from 17th, March to 17th, April 2021.
 
Program objectives:
Give opportunities for students to access useful knowledge about volunteering and local non-profits
Provide knowledge and skills to have a voluntary journey effectively and sustainably
Supplying helpful information on why volunteer helps future students’ personal development and career

Did you understand how to give?
If you had the chance to help someone else reach the importance of their lives, would you be willing to help?
The right understanding of giving is demonstrated through the ability to discern the nature of helping, that you are helping the right person at the right time!
 
Giving Well University Tour inspires and nurtures the spiritual spirit in the student that the UEF is looking forward to promoting. The program is organized with operating chains including:
 
Workshop 1: Understanding volunteering

SPEAKER INFORMATION

 Ms. Vo Ngoc Tuyen (Kelly) is currently in charge of the charity program at the Lin Community Development Support Center, a local non-profit organization founded in 2009 with the mission of assisting Vietnamese non-profit organizations, professional volunteers, and sponsors in promoting their potential; becoming a factor that promotes sustainable development, poverty reduction, and community participation.
 
Ms. Tuyen formerly worked in business development positions for Australian, European, and American firms focusing on natural tea products and wine, as well as business software. (B2B). Her expertise in non-governmental domains includes 6 years as the regional coordinator for BeCause for Hope, a non-governmental organization located in San Jose that provides infrastructure and mechanical infrastructure and mechanics. Education Association for Children in Vietnam's Underprivileged Areas.
 
She believes that the influence will be duplicated if everyone works together to tackle societal problems. She aspires to be a strong and important bridge connecting individuals to make a difference via purposeful volunteer activities. Lin's focus is promoting philanthropy in Vietnam and bringing people together to effect long-term change.
  
Mr. Huynh Cong Thang is a Vietnamese businessman who is well-known in the startup and innovation communities in the ASEAN region, particularly in Singapore, Taiwan, Korea, Malaysia, Vietnam, and Singapore. Chile. Mr. Thang is the Co-Founder and CEO of InnoLab Asia (implementation partner of Open Innovation Vietnam - Initiative from the Ministry of Science and Technology of Vietnam in the field of Open Innovation in Vietnam and Southeast Asia).
 
He is also the creator of Lead The Change, an educational organization that offers short-term training programs on thinking, skills, and worldwide career prospects for young people in Vietnam and overseas. In 2020, he launched the Give It Back initiative, GIVE IT BACK is a crowdfunding project of Lead The Change that uses the 1 on 1 Mentoring model to assist young people grow themselves and perfect life skills, as well as boosting young people's sharing spirit for more underprivileged places. Phase 3 of the project will contribute to the COMMUNITY FUND in order to aid in the restoration of the forest in Ben En - Thanh Hoa.
