Talkshow “Green Mind - Green Life” - For an evergreen environment

The development of society goes along with the challenge of natural environment, therefore, with an open-minded and readiness to face and adapt, Center of Service-Learning UEF organized Talkshow “Green Mind - Green Life” and got many positive response and feedbacks from UEF students in the morning 22/11.


The one who accompanies with the “green” talkshow is Miss Nguyen Ngoc Bao Dung - Founder of Ibsen Tiny Stage; Miss Pham Thi Kim Hang - Founder of Limart chain of green shops; Miss Nguyen Thi Hoang Quy - President of UFO ASIA limited liability company and Miss Huynh Kim Phung - Coordinator Center of Service-Learning UEF.

The reality of a polluted environment is always a hot topic discussed on many forums both big and small ones, and University of Economic and Finance TP.HCM (UEF) is also one of them. Pursuing a goal to become an educational institution that meets international standards, UEF students are equipped, encouraged to be responsible for society and protecting the environment is one of ways to contribute.

“Everyone coming here today to hear about the environment has already had a Green Mind”, the talkshow explored a seemingly big problem by stories of daily lives that are relatable, practical for everyone. “Not having enough money to buy green products, you can practice Green Life by brewing your own milk tea at home with your family or friend, so that we can lessen one shipped plastic cup and straw”





Aside from interesting knowledge of the environment, our two speakers also inspired UEF students with positive, optimistic energy through their own “behind-the-scenes” stories when organized, operated and done their business. From integrating living green into educational games at Ibsen Tiny Stage by Miss Dung to the spirit of improvising products to reduce business waste at Limart by Miss Hang,... there is no standard to living green, we can create our own suitable living green lifestyle.

The talkshow has closed, Center of Service-Learning UEF hopes that the journey to keep a green environment will be continued by  UEF students. Fostering a Green Mind and doing it in Green Life daily, everything is for a green environment.
