FBA Students Gain Practical Insights into Quality Management at Yakult Vietnam

To provide students with opportunities to engage in practice-oriented learning, UEF consistently emphasizes organizing industry engagement activities. These initiatives aim to equip students with essential knowledge and skills for their future careers.
 
Recently, the Faculty of Business Administration (FBA) organized a field trip to the production plant of Yakult Vietnam, offering students valuable hands-on experience related to the Quality Management course.

At the facility, UEF students were introduced to an overview of Yakult’s operational system in Vietnam and globally. With over 80 years of establishment and development, Yakult has built a strong position in the probiotic drink industry, becoming a well-recognized brand in many countries worldwide.
 
In addition, students visited the product exhibition area, which features a wide range of products distributed across markets such as the United States, Thailand, and China. This activity provided students with clearer insights into the company’s development orientation and market expansion strategies.

During the visit, students also explored Yakult’s closed-loop production line, learning about each stage of the manufacturing process, as well as quality control and quality management practices at the plant. Each area was thoroughly introduced, enabling students to gain a comprehensive understanding of modern production processes.
The highly automated machinery system, combined with optimized workforce allocation, ensures strict compliance with hygiene and safety standards throughout the entire production process. Furthermore, students were introduced to Yakult’s key distribution channels, offering a clearer perspective on how the company operates its business activities in practice.

The field trip to Yakult Vietnam provided students of the Faculty of Business Administration with engaging and practical learning experiences, making theoretical knowledge more accessible and applicable. Through this activity, students gained deeper insights into quality control and assurance in a real business environment, thereby building a solid foundation for their future career development.
