UEF Students Kick Off a Vibrant International Exchange Journey in Taiwan

07/25/2025
The 2025 international exchange program at National Taichung University of Science and Technology (NTCUST), Taiwan, continues to offer UEF students a dynamic and enriching learning experience. With the participation of eight students from the Faculties of Economics, Marketing, and Business Administration, the program not only expands academic knowledge but also fosters adaptability and a global mindset—essential competencies in today’s era of integration.

Students departed for Taiwan on July 27

Upon arrival in Taiwan, the students were warmly welcomed by NTCUST through an orientation session designed to foster connection and help them quickly overcome initial unfamiliarity. The friendly atmosphere and thoughtful arrangements from the host university created a positive start for the 10-day journey.

NTCUST organized a warm welcome session, helping UEF students connect and adapt quickly to the new environment

The exchange program is comprehensively designed, integrating academic learning, cultural experiences, and skill development. Specialized courses such as “Big Data Analysis & AI Applications,” “Environmental Technology Design,” and “Simulation Training in Nursing Aromatherapy” provide students with practical insights into technological trends shaping the world. In addition, basic Chinese language classes covering topics like “Language & Culture,” “Social Media,” and “Art & Design” not only help students familiarize themselves with the language but also deepen their understanding of local culture.

Complementing the academic sessions are engaging DIY workshops, including making bubble tea and Sun Cake, as well as study visits to the Taichung National Theater, District 7, and the National Museum of Natural Science. These activities offer students opportunities to experience Taiwan’s modern lifestyle while exploring its cultural, historical, and social dimensions.
The program will conclude with a final presentation session, where students will reflect on and share their learning outcomes, experiences, and personal growth over the 10 days. It is expected that participants will effectively apply the skills developed at UEF, confidently connect with peers, and further integrate into the global environment throughout the program.
