UEF inaugurates smart classroom and Chinese culture space

In an era of rapidly advancing technology, integrating technology into education has become an inevitable trend, offering students new and more comprehensive learning opportunities. This integration not only enhances the quality of teaching but also creates a multidimensional experience, connecting culture and global knowledge.

In line with this spirit, on the morning of December 31, UEF held the inauguration and handover ceremony of the multifunctional classroom and the Chinese culture exhibition room. This project carries significant strategic meaning for the comprehensive development of students majoring in Chinese Language at the university.

The inauguration and handover ceremony of the multifunctional classroom and the Chinese culture exhibition room took place on the morning of December 31.

The event was attended by Mr. Tu Chau – Deputy Consul, Consulate of the People’s Republic of China in Ho Chi Minh City; Ms. Trieu Khiet Nam – Vice Consul, Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China in Ho Chi Minh City; and Mr. Wang Zhen Qiang, General Director of ALO360.COM Joint Stock Company.

Representing UEF were Mr. Do Quoc Anh – Vice Chairman of the University Council; Dr. Nhan Cam Tri – Vice Rector; Dr. Ho Vien Phuong – Vice Rector; M.A. Nguyen Van Manh – Deputy Head of the University Office; and Dr. Nguyen Thi Lan – Vice Dean of the Faculty of International Languages and Cultures, Head of the Chinese Language Program.

The newly inaugurated multifunctional classroom is located on the 16th floor of UEF, at 141 Dien Bien Phu.

The classroom is equipped with modern facilities, including a lecturer’s computer, 15 student computers, an 86-inch interactive touch screen whiteboard, a camera and sound system, and teaching software. By integrating both online and in-person learning formats, this classroom enables students to optimize teaching and learning efficiency. Advanced technology, such as automatic lecturer-tracking cameras and live streaming capabilities, provides a smart and convenient educational experience that meets the globalized trends in learning.

Students were given a brief introduction to the functions and usage of the multifunctional classroom.

In addition, the Chinese culture exhibition room was designed as a cultural exchange space, featuring a traditional Chinese tea table, ceremonial costumes, traditional musical instruments, and an 86-inch interactive touch screen. This space allows students not only to access knowledge and language learning but also to gain a deeper understanding of China’s rich culture, enriching their academic foundation and learning experience.

Chinese Culture Exhibition Room

In his speech at the handover ceremony, Mr. Do Quoc Anh emphasized the comprehensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and China, particularly in the field of education. He shared that over nearly 75 years of diplomatic relations, the two countries have achieved many outstanding accomplishments across various sectors, with education being a key pillar. The multifunctional classroom and the Chinese culture exhibition room, with a total value of 300,000 RMB (approximately 1.17 billion VND), symbolize the close cooperation between UEF and its partners.

Mr. Tu Chau shared about the support provided for the multifunctional classroom at UEF.

Mr. Do Quoc Anh emphasized the strategic cooperation between UEF and its Chinese partners.

The project was implemented with equipment supplied from China by ALO360.COM Joint Stock Company. Representatives of the company also expressed their hope that the facility would be used as effectively as possible, bringing practical benefits to students. This modern system not only serves learning needs but also acts as a cultural bridge, providing UEF students with opportunities for comprehensive development in both knowledge and skills.

The inauguration was successfully held in a solemn and hopeful atmosphere, promising to bring new value to UEF students in the time ahead. With this well-planned investment, UEF once again affirms its vision for modern education and its commitment to providing an international-quality learning environment for students.
