Following this approach, on the morning of November 26, the Chinese Language program under the Faculty of Languages and International Cultures continued its “Company Tour” journey by taking students on a field trip to the OPPO Vietnam office. This activity provided students with the opportunity to experience a professional working environment and opened up potential internship and career opportunities with foreign enterprises in Vietnam.

Accompanying the delegation were Dr. Luu Boi To and M.A. Do The Long, lecturers from the Faculty. At OPPO Vietnam, students were warmly welcomed by company leaders and managers from various departments, who introduced them to OPPO’s entry into the Vietnamese market, business strategies, corporate culture, and recruitment standards. These insights helped students better understand how a technology corporation operates in a highly competitive environment, while also broadening their perspectives on market trends and the role of language in communication, business, and international collaboration.
Students also had the opportunity to interact with OPPO employees, learning about specific career requirements for Chinese-proficient candidates, from customer service and operations to internal and external communications. For Chinese Language students, this served as a valuable real-world reference on how Chinese is applied in FDI enterprises in Vietnam.

During the visit, students were directly introduced to internship and job opportunities at OPPO Vietnam. Through presentations from the HR department, they gained a clearer understanding of career development pathways, required skills, evaluation criteria, and the company’s dynamic and open working environment.
The atmosphere became even more engaging through interactive minigames, reflecting OPPO’s vibrant corporate culture. Meaningful gifts were presented, further strengthening the connection between students and a potential future workplace.

Additionally, students toured the office workspace, observing the operations of different departments and experiencing a professional and collaborative working environment. For third- and fourth-year students, this experience served as strong motivation for their studies and helped them better understand real-world expectations as they prepare to enter the workforce after graduation.
