06/11/2021
As part of the series of activities to respond to the month of action for the environment of the UEF, recently, the Community Connection Center has organized a webinar "Zero waste for the day" to raise awareness among students on environmental protection, plastic waste reduction and sustainable consumption.

The program was accompanied by Ms. Denise Truong - CEO of TYDE Consulting. Besides being a CEO, Ms. Denise Truong also represents Trash Hero Ho Chi Minh organization to organize many programs to change consumption habits towards environmentally friendly goals.

Held online, the "Zero waste for the day" seminar still attracts many students, showing the young people's interest in environmental issues. The main contents of the seminar were designed and delivered in a variety of interesting and varied interactive forms so as not to cause boredom as well as increase the experience of the participating students.

With the simple and accessible guidance of Ms. Denise Truong, the students became more aware of environmental issues, especially the harmful effects of plastic waste and plastic packaging on biodiversity.

Students expressed their views on environmental issues with the guests

Also in the seminar, the students showed their interest in environmental issues with many unique questions: How to apply Artificial Intelligence to increase the efficiency of waste treatment?, How to instruct people to dump garbage in the right place?, Measures to reduce waste?,...

With nearly 2 hours of sharing, the seminar did not have enough time to answer all the concerns of the students, but it helped spark in them ideas for sustainable actions.
