Meaningful Spring activities bring us all together

As part of Spring Volunteer 2020, various meaningful messages have been sent through the charity program at La An Nhien Pagoda (Mekong delta province of Long An) mutually held by Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management and Faculty of Public Relations and Communications, as well as the trip to HCMC Youth Union bases in wartime held by UEF Youth Union.

A spring full of love

With the message "A fulfilled spring" for "Thousands of Love", the officers - lecturers - staff in Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management and Faculty of Public Relations and Communications handed lucky money and meaningful gifts to the elderly and orphans at La An Nhien Pagoda.

Meanwhile, the students from Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management also had practical activities in Thu Duc Youth Village (18 Vo Van Ngan, Truong Tho Ward, Thu Duc District).

Here, each member of the UEF House joined hands to clean, decorate the rooms and houses to create a bright and cozy space for the elderly and the children. Besides, many fun activities and arts events were organized with the active participation of the children. The bustling singing along with the youthful laughter made the party so enjoyable, bringing a warm, happier spring nearer to all.

Journey of gratitude to the families who sacrificed in the revolution

Also on this occasion, the school delegation in collaboration with the UEF Charity Association had a trip to visit and provide gifts to people in HCMC Youth Union bases in wartime in Phu Hoa Dong commune, Cu Chi district. Each gift, though value was so tiny compared to the sacrifice, expresses the deep gratitude of the new generation in UEF Family to the heroic martyrs, the families of the revolutionary who have nurtured and protected for the former cadres of Youth Union during the American resistance war.

Spring Volunteer is an activity that brings many memorable experiences to UEFers and also helps spread the valuable messages. Thanks to the occasion, the spirit of solidarity and enthusiasm of the staff - lecturers - staff and students is clearly expressed. In the atmosphere of Lunar New Year, these "gives" will become more precious, the happiness of sharing will continue to transform into motivation for the UEF Family to deploy more meaningful programs in the near future.
