APRIL 26, UEF held a working session with Asia University (Taiwan) and Universiti Sains Malaysia. Representatives from the three institutions discussed a range of potential collaborations in the areas of scientific research and international programs for faculty members, staff, and students.
On the UEF side, there were UEF Dr. Ngo Minh Hai - Vice President, Board of Presidents, and representatives of the Department of Science, Technology and International Projects.
Representatives from Asia University (Taiwan) included Prof. Wing-Keung Wong - Chair Professor, Department of Finance. On Universiti Sains Malaysia’s side, there was Prof. Hooy Chee Wooi - Chair Professor, School of Management.

The meeting opened up many international cooperation opportunities for UEF
During the meeting, the parties discussed various potential cooperative programs, including co-organizing international conferences, co-publishing special issues in Scopus Indexed Journals, collaborating on scientific research and writing articles for UEF's JDI journal. They also deliberated on the content and modalities of international cooperation in undergraduate and postgraduate education, as well as facilitating student and faculty exchanges and promoting semesters abroad.
Regarding collaboration on organizing international conferences, the parties proposed hosting high-quality events with the support of Scopus Indexed Journals and international publishers. They also recommended selecting appropriate topics that reflect new social trends and current research needs in the field of economics and finance, aligning with the goals of the journals and publishers.

For scientific research, the proposed cooperation content includes collaborative research projects to address challenges and important issues in the field; identifying research methods, dividing work, and outlining the expected progress of each project.
Additionally, consideration and design of international academic programs in accordance with requirements of the labor market and industry development, proposing specialized courses and advanced teaching methods for both undergraduate and graduate levels, as well as student and faculty exchange programs between universities to expand learning and research opportunities, are also mentioned in the session.

Based on the information discussed at the meeting, the parties established a basis for further discussions to promote future cooperation. Numerous high-quality programs focusing on scientific research and international exchange will soon be implemented for both UEF lecturers and students.
