Opening the program, Lawyer Lê Thế Hùng introduced an overview of the operational model of a law firm, including workflow processes, departmental roles, and lawyers’ dossier-handling practices. He also analyzed key skills that future lawyers need to develop, such as legal reasoning, argumentation ability, communication skills, and situational problem-solving.
With extensive practical experience, the firm representative provided students with a comprehensive overview of Vietnam’s legal system by analyzing dispute resolution methods, litigation procedures, enforcement processes, and common types of disputes encountered in practice. This helped students visualize how lawyers select appropriate legal solutions for specific cases..

Alongside theoretical knowledge, international students participated in practical case simulations presented by Lawyer Lê Thế Hùng, allowing them to practice analytical thinking, critical reasoning, and problem-solving skills in a legal professional context. In particular, comparisons between Vietnamese and Chinese legal systems provided students with multidimensional perspectives and a deeper understanding of both countries’ legal frameworks, while expanding their knowledge of international law.

The program concluded with a tour of CNC Vietnam Law Firm’s office and direct observation of the real working environment. This activity reinforced the knowledge gained and helped students clearly envision the legal profession in Vietnam.
