6 more students from UEF start their international internship in Japan

This July, UEF continues to have 6 students studying abroad in Japan, bringing the number of UEFers participating in the international internship this month to 18.

July 18, 24, and 30 - the Faculty of Languages ​​and International Cultures and the Center of Corporate Partnerships held 3 send-offs for students at Tan Son Nhat International Airport. This is expected to be a memorable internship with many useful and valuable lessons.

July 18 - UEF sent 2 students to Japan for the internship, including Nguyen Thi Kim Thanh and Huynh Thi My Dung. The two students will spend a one-year internship at the Oyado Zuiyo Hotel, Shizuoka Prefecture. In addition to Japanese language enhancement and practice, they will learn and hone more skills in the hospitality industry, creating a solid stepping stone for future job opportunities.

JULY 24 - two more UEFers departed to the land of cherry blossoms: Do Ngan Giang and Nguyen Thi My Tam. These two both start their internship at Itoen Hotel Shiobara for a year. Together, they will support each other in the upcoming time to complete the assigned work efficiently.

JULY 30 - UEF continued to see 2 more students departing for Japan. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Nhu and Truong Hoang Chau will start their one-year internship at Itoen Hotel Asama no Yu.
 

2 UEF students are ready to work hard, study hard in their internship


UEF leaders and faculty members will come to give farewells and encouragement to students studying abroad. During the past 3 days, Mr. Huynh Quoc Phong - Director, Center of Corporate Partnerships, and the IFK representative were always present to give advice and share more information with parents. In addition, faculty members of the Faculty of Languages ​​and International Cultures, and the UEF International Institute also took turns to attend the send-offs.

On every trip, Mr. Huynh Quoc Phong always stated to the parents: “Please rest assured, we have sent students to Japan for internship many times before. And after these batches of students, the university will continue to send more students to Japan, once they pass the interview and meet the business’s requirements. Families should be proud as their children have made great efforts to persuade the Japanese corporates, obtain their opportunity to study abroad, as well as participate in this meaningful internship."

At the farewell meeting on July 24, Dr. Vo Van Thanh Than - Dean, Faculty of Languages ​​and International Cultures shared: “Try your best to complete the assigned tasks. The work does not take up too much time, so make use of it by learning more to become fluent in Japanese soon and be able to communicate confidently like natives. Students with the same internship unit and accommodation remember to help and support each other in everything, stay as united as brothers and sisters in one family to live, learn, and thrive together.”
