Annually, on October 12,  the Kingdom of Spain joyfully celebrated its great Spain’s National Day. This is the nation’s shining milestone throughout the history of development. To assist the Spain community living and working in Vietnam to celebrate their special day, UEF has cooperated with the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam and the other units to host this program. It is also the first time that this greatest day as the national celebration has been held at a university.

In this program, many interesting activities took place. Opening with an impressive fashion show in traditional Vietnamese ao dai with Spanish music playing in the background. This combination has created a “eye-pleasing” unique art space for audiences. The program also featured the wine tasting activity - the drink that makes up the brand of a country like Spain, followed by chef Sorgio Nieto's cooking demonstration with his attractive, eye-catching and flavorful pastries.

The celebration atmosphere became more vibrant and bustling with the Flamenco dance - the signature dance of Spain, performed by professional dancers. The cheers of their compatriots highly energised dancers to "burn" their hearts out on each melody.

Furthermore, the festival day was even more exciting with musical performances, featuring the distinctive sound of Spain by the band Los Mosquitos. In this way, everyone immersed themselves in the ambient music, wine, cake, conversations, and tightened their bonds even more. The stories of expatriated people, now reunited in foreign land full of emotions; or the story about being embraced by international friends on their National’s day is also mentioned in this program.
