Miss Sports Miss Vietnam 2020 is the ambassador of UEF Summer Race 2021

In addition to academic contests, the list of activities for UEFers in the 5K period has been extended with the Online Running Tournament - UEF Summer Race 2021. Miss Sports Miss Vietnam 2020 - Phu Bao Nghi, UEFer talented, beautiful is one of the ambassadors of the tournament.
UEF Summer Race 2021 also has the companionship of ambassadors: Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc - Vice President, Director of International Institute; Dr. Phan Bao Giang - Vice Dean of Faculty of Public Relations and Communication; Mr. Vu Anh Sao - Vice Dean of Faculty of Law; Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Ly - Head of Faculty of Physical Education, and Alumni Nguyen Thi Hai Yen - Champion of "UEF Idol 2015".

Among the ambassadors, Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc, Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Ly and the beauty Phu Bao Nghi are considered sports icons of UEF.
As an outstanding student, Phu Bao Nghi is also known by the title of Miss Sports Miss Vietnam 2020 with an admirable record of achievements. At the age of 12, Bao Nghi excellently won a gold medal in the 50m breaststroke at Fobisia - a regional competition for students of the Association of British International Schools in Asia. This is also the highest achievement Nghi has achieved.

Only 19 years old, she owns up to 10 swimming medals, including 4 gold medals. From swimming breaststroke, butterfly stroke to front crawl, Bao Nghi has won awards. Especially when participating in the swimming competition at Miss Sports Miss Vietnam 2020, the girl's leg is dislocated and in pain, but Nghi still tries to compete to win first place.
 
Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc still maintains a daily exercise routine

Despite being the university's leader with a busy workload, Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc said that he still maintains the workout routine that has lasted for 15 years.

“In spite of being very busy, I have always balanced my time to work out continuously for the past 15 years and had the intention of pursuing a professional career when I was a student. Now the intensity and time spent working out has decreased a lot, but I still maintain the habit of at least 45 minutes a day. I also have a Fitness Coach certificate from the Vietnam Sports Administration,” said Mr. Loc.

Meanwhile, Ms. Bich Ly - Head of Faculty of Physical Education is known for her outstanding sports achievements. She currently owns more than 60 Gold medals, more than 40 Silver medals in bodybuilding. That impressive medal fortune is achieved from city, national and regional sports tournaments.

In the university life, the presence of a champion, a sports idol, an outstanding will, etc. has a strong and profound impact on young people who are in the process of being educated. Ms. Bich Ly is a strong example at UEF.

Ambassadors "fire up" athletes

In the complicated development of the Covid-19 pandemic, besides the recommendations of the Ministry of Health such as strictly following the 5K regulations at all times, increasing exercise, having reasonable nutrition, etc. building a healthy lifestyle will help us be aware of the role of health, both physically and mentally. It is not natural that each person can own a healthy body, which is the result of the process of maintaining and practicing regularly in daily life.

In order to motivate and empower athletes to register to participate in the UEF Summer Race 2021 online running tournament, the tournament's ambassadors had practical sharing.

“To start with the goal of good health, one of the top factors is to exercise regularly. Specifically, through the program UEF Summer Race 2021 to help you build a training plan in 15 days with a distance of 30km for women and 45km for men, along with a message to improve general health and join hands to fight COVID-19. I firmly believe that nothing is impossible if you have enough patience, effort and determination", Ms. Bich Ly emphasized.

As an ambassador, Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc shared: “I want to spread my passion for sports to everyone, and I hope everyone will practice sports, avoid negative thoughts during the complicated period of the Covid-19 pandemic. Not only that, with every step of our run, we have contributed a big part to the upcoming Green Summer."

Besides spreading the spirit of sports, Dr. Phan Bao Giang and Mr. Vu Anh Sao also advises students to practice a suitable sport without giving up.
Representing the generation of UEF students, Phu Bao Nghi said: “I feel very excited to be one of the ambassadors of the “UEF Summer Race 2021” program. I think this is a very meaningful playground for UEF students during the pandemic. This is an opportunity for you to exercise and reduce stress after classes. In addition to bringing many health benefits to the athletes, this is also an opportunity for the UEF family to join hands to contribute to the community.”

 
Running helps Nguyen Thi Hai Yen learn more discipline

Alumni Nguyen Thi Hai Yen excitedly shared: “Yen feels very happy to participate in the UEF Summer Race 2021 online running tournament, especially as an alumnus of UEF. From a person running less than 100m to completing distances of 5km, 10km or 21km, I understand how important exercise is. In addition to protecting health, running is a sport that helps you practice more discipline and perseverance than any other sport. Yen believes that, when participating in the UEF Summer Race 2021, every step of our run is a connection and creates value for society.
With the words of encouragement and sharing from the ambassadors, the athletes of the UEF Summer Race 2021 have gained more confidence to try to complete the longest distances possible, while practicing health and contributing at the same time. a part to the Green Summer 2021 operation fund.
