Elsevier is a global leader in information and analysis, dedicated to helping researchers and professionals advance science and technology while striving to create positive and sustainable value for the community. During the meeting, Mr. Leo Juan introduced the process for indexing journals in Scopus/ESCI and stated that Elsevier would support scientific journals throughout in tandem on their journey of enhancing and repositioning their quality.
National seminars and conferences were organized to establish a forum where scholars could exchange knowledge and learn from each other's expertise. He also provided detailed information about UEF's Journal of Development and Integration, emphasizing the importance of promoting and enhancing this scientific database to make it more prestigious and of higher quality.
The meeting opened up many new paths for positioning the UEF Journal of Science.
At the start of the session, Dr. Nguyen Thanh Luan provided a brief overview of UEF and highlighted the outstanding scientific research conducted by both lecturers and students. Many valuable research projects have been successfully implemented in practice. Furthermore, the UEF's research activities were well-coordinated with various partners, resulting in numerous achievements.
UEF representatives provided UEF’s information and discussed cooperation opportunities with Elsevier and iGroup.
Scopus is the world's largest multidisciplinary scientific citation database, developed and maintained by Elsevier Publishing.
With extensive experience in scientific research and success in publishing numerous journals, Digital Commons strategy advisors will assist UEF in simplifying the process of indexing its journals. As a result of this meeting, UEF's Journal of Development and Integration will be able to implement initiatives to enhance its value and work towards inclusion in the Scopus index, with support from its new strategic partner, Elsevier.
Discussions on multiple fields were held, aiming at promoting and improving the quality of scientific research activities.
Following discussions on collaboration opportunities, UEF will initiate various innovative scientific research activities, expanding both in quality and scale in the near future. Simultaneously, UEF’s Journal of Development and Integration will strive for indexing in the Scopus database, with strong support from Elsevier.
