UEFers complete the international exchange program “Bridge to Keimyung Camp 2023” in Daegu, Korea

After a week of exploring the beautiful country of Korea, the UEF students concluded the international exchange program "Bridge to Keimyung Camp 2023" in Daegu. The program offered such unique cultural and academic experiences, as well as opportunities to develop relationships between Vietnamese students and their peers from other countries.
 

UEFers had exciting experiences in the last two days of their exchange program 


July 20 and July 21, UEFers participated in a variety of engaging activities to better understand and appreciate the traditional culture and customs of Korea. The students also experienced wearing Korean traditional clothes, learned local greeting styles and delved into the art of tea ceremony. Additionally, they took part in the process of making the famous Daegu fried chicken under the guidance of TangTang Land staff and explored the city.

Before concluding their trip, UEFers attended a Kpop dance class, where they were taught and practiced famous Korean dances and songs. Specifically, the exchange with Vietnamese students studying at Keimyung University provided students with opportunities to share their experiences in learning and joining Korean exams as well as information about scholarships at Keimyung university, which has more than 900 Vietnamese students studying at bachelor, master and doctoral levels.

In the closing ceremony, a representative from the UEF student delegation, Nguyen Vo An Binh, shared her thoughts on the program. An Binh expressed her gratitude to the faculty members of Keimyung University for organizing this international exchange trip, offering UEFers the chance to learn about the language and cultures as well as forming friendships with students from other countries. At the ceremony, they received certificates from Keimyung University and also attended a send-off at the university’s International Lounge.

The international exchange program "Bridge to Keimyung Camp 2023" had successfully concluded. The trip not only allowed UEFers to experience and learn about Korea, but also provided an opportunity to expand international networks, promote cultural exchange, and gain insights from a modern education system.
