Dear Businesses and Partners,

We warmly welcome you to the information page of the Faculty of Information Technology, University of Economics and Finance Ho Chi Minh City (UEF).

The Faculty of Information Technology was established in 2015 with the mission of training high-quality human resources in Information Technology (IT) and IT-related fields to meet the real needs of the labor market.

Mission
The Faculty of Information Technology is committed to providing advanced training programs and valuable scientific research in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Science, E-commerce, and Graphic Design. We aim to contribute to the country’s industrialization and modernization, and to strengthen its ability to integrate into the region and the world.

Development Goals

The faculty strives to become a respected training and research unit in Information Technology and IT applications. Specifically, by 2025, the faculty aims to become a leading training provider, standing out through practice-oriented teaching methods, close cooperation with businesses, and the use of training standards aligned with international integration.

Business Collaboration and Engagement

Through career orientation workshops, scientific seminars, guest talks, and partnership programs with companies, the faculty maintains a strong link between theory and practice. Thanks to this connection, students not only have opportunities to access advanced technologies, but also gain a clear advantage in finding jobs and building their careers. At the same time, close cooperation with businesses helps the faculty continuously update its curriculum to better meet the real needs of the labor market.

With continuous efforts, the number of students studying in the Faculty of Information Technology has grown strongly in recent years. We hope to further expand cooperation with Businesses and Partners to jointly build an innovative and effective environment for education and research.

Development Direction of the Faculty

Strengthen the link between education and real practice through close cooperation with businesses, helping students experience the working environment while they are still studying.
Provide consulting and technology solutions for businesses in the faculty’s training fields, contributing to innovation and real-world technology application.
Expand international training partnerships, continuously improving program quality and teaching methods toward global education standards.
