Responsibilities
Business Analysts bridge the gap between clients and software developers. They understand the client's needs, document their domain expertise, and translate this into a clear requirements document that guides the software designers.
Key Responsibilities
- Report directly to supervisors and the Project Manager.
- Collaborate with project team members.
- Participate in all software development activities, following Scrum practices.
- Under supervision, perform the following:
- Communicate with clients.
- Assess client's current and future business needs and processes.
- Interview client domain experts to capture relevant knowledge.
- Document detailed business requirements (requirement specifications), including assumptions and caveats.
- Define quality attributes, external interfaces, constraints, and other nonfunctional requirements.
- Participate in peer reviews of work products to ensure correct interpretation of requirements.
- Serve as an internal point of contact for the development team regarding requirements clarification.
Qualifications
Required Skills/Experience
- IT background with an interest in a Business Analyst career.
- Ability to work full-time (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday).
- Excellent English skills (speaking, listening, reading, and writing) equivalent to TOEIC 700/IELTS 6.0 or Japanese N3.
- Strong logical, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
- Good learning capability.
