Creative and Inspiring Semifinals of "Your Dream Destination 2026" Reveal Top 12 Finalists

In the vibrant flow of the modern tourism industry, seeking and nurturing courageous and creative young faces is not only an educational goal but also a mission to continue sustainable experience values.
With that spirit, the "Your Dream Destination 2026" competition, organized by the UEF Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management, has returned impressively, affirming its position as a major professional academic playground where breakthrough destination ideas are sparked and showcased. On the morning of March 11, the competition's heat continued to spread strongly with a dramatic Semifinal round, gathering the 15 most outstanding contestants who surpassed the preliminary round with creative video clips that received enthusiastic support on social media platforms.
The Semifinal round took place vibrantly with the competition of the top 15 contestants and a powerful team of supporters.
This year's journey to conquer the highest title marked a significant impression of diversity and high connectivity, attracting students from 9 prestigious training institutions such as: UEF, Ho Chi Minh City Open University, Dong Nai University of Technology, VNUHCM-University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam Aviation Academy, Hong Bang International University, University of Finance - Marketing, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH), and Sai Gon University.
Speaking at the program, Dr. Nhan Cam Tri - Vice President of UEF emphasized that the competition is an annual academic activity contributing to an attractive professional playground for students passionate about the tourism and hospitality sector. Entering its fourth season, the competition continues to affirm its influence by attracting more than 50 students from various universities. According to him, the program is not only a place for contestants to demonstrate their knowledge, presentation skills, and creative thinking but also creates networking opportunities between students and experts as well as successful alumni in the industry. Thereby, the competition contributes to nurturing professional passion, encouraging the spirit of learning, and orienting development for the young generation of human resources in the field of tourism and hospitality.
Dr. Nhan Cam Tri emphasized the influence and values brought by the competition.
To find the most worthy factors to enter the Finals, the Board of Judges worked impartially with high professional expertise, including: Content Creator BabyKopo Home; MSc. Tran Thi Thuy Phuong - Deputy Director in charge of the Center for Marketing and Brand Development; Mr. Phan Nhan - Travel Blogger, Seoul & Busan Tourism Ambassador; MSc. Dinh Tran Thuy Vi - UEF Marketing Lecturer; Ms. Le Ngoc Kim Ngan - Sales Manager of Group Tours at Vietluxtour, and Mr. Nguyen Thanh Dat - Director of Van Khoa Science and Tourism Services Co., Ltd.
Representatives of the Organizing Committee sent their gratitude to the panel of judges.
In this round, each contestant had 3 minutes to present their passionate project. The evaluation criteria were not limited to the presentation content but also covered standee design, investment in creativity, and the explosive spirit of the supporters.

Commenting on the quality of this year's contestants, judge BabyKopo Home shared that she was truly impressed by the uniform ability and the serious level of preparation of the students. According to her, standing confidently on stage and presenting clearly and coherently before a large crowd at a student age is not easy, but many contestants did very well. This shows their courage, investment, and serious spirit toward the competition. The female judge also expected that in the next round, contestants would continue to promote their confidence and perfect their performances to get closer to their goals.
Content creator BabyKopo Home highly appreciated the quality of this year's contestants.
After moments of breathtaking competition, the first sub-prizes found their worthy owners: Mr. Le Thanh Phu (HUTECH) excellently won the Most Creative Idea award; the project about Lao Chai by Ms. Huynh Nhu Y (Vietnam Aviation Academy) received the Most Inspiring Destination award, and the Most Liked Video award went to Mr. Truong Nhat Nam (UEF).
Concluding the Semifinal round, the 12 most elite contestants were officially named to proceed to the Final round. Here, they participated in a lucky draw and were divided into 4 teams (3 members per team), promising to bring harmonious and breakthrough coordination in the final stretch of "Your Dream Destination 2026."
