Law’s Conquerors 2025 Officially Kicks Off with the Competition Among 29 Teams in the Southern Region
A total of 16 universities and 29 teams confidently embarked on the qualifying round following the starting bell at the Opening Ceremony of Law’s Conquerors 2025 on the morning of June 20. Organized annually by the Faculty of Law in collaboration with Ta Pha Law Company Limited, the competition has successfully run for four seasons and continues to provide an academic space that connects young people with a passion for legal knowledge and practice.
A Gathering of 29 Competing Teams
In its fifth edition, Law’s Conquerors 2025 again attracted numerous universities from the Southern region of Vietnam. The 29 participating teams came from 16 universities, including:

The Opening Ceremony welcomed Mr. Nguyen Huy Thang, Prosecutor and Deputy Head of the Department of Prosecution, Investigation and Trial in Security and Narcotics Cases at the People's Procuracy of Ho Chi Minh City; and Dr. Ha Hai, Standing Member of the Vietnam Bar Federation and Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Bar Association.

Opening Remarks
In his opening remarks, Dr. Nhan Cam Tri, Vice Rector of UEF, thanked the sponsors for partnering with the Faculty of Law to create a beneficial competition for students who are passionate about law. He also encouraged the competing teams before they began the qualifying round.
Representing the professional partner, Lawyer Vo Dan Mach, Chairman of Ta Pha Law Company Limited, affirmed that the competition would be conducted professionally, transparently, and with a strong emphasis on the rule of law, bringing an inspiring academic challenge to students.
Scope and Format of the Competition
This year’s competition focused on legal knowledge from various legal texts and codes, such as:
Civil Code
Commercial Law
Enterprise Law
Marriage and Family Law
Labor Code
Penal Code
Land Law
Civil Procedure Code
Criminal Procedure Code
Administrative Law
Administrative Procedure Law.
After the opening ceremony, the 29 teams moved to the computer room to complete personal information checks and listen to the briefing on competition content. In the qualifying round, teams answered 35 multiple-choice questions (30 core questions and 5 tiebreaker questions). The test integrated diverse legal knowledge, including questions in English, requiring participants to have relevant legal vocabulary and reading comprehension skills.
At the end of the qualifying round, the 9 teams with the highest total scores from the core questions (based on cumulative team points) will advance to the Final Round.
Details of qualifying results will soon be announced on the competition’s official fanpage. The Final and Placements Rounds are scheduled to take place on June 21.
