Aiming to boost the internationalization of education, UEF constantly expands its partner network in many countries, promoting and opening many study abroad programs along with internships and job opportunities for students.
SEPTEMBER 12 – UEF Faculty of Languages and International Cultures received leaders of Hiroshima - Vietnam Peace and Friendship Association and Southern Breeze Joint Stock Company on a meeting and working session to open new opportunities for UEFers to study and do internships in Japan as well as form a bridge for cultural exchange and tighten the friendship between the two countries.

The meeting honorably had the presence of Dr. Vo Van Thanh Than – Dean, Faculty of Languages and International Cultures; Mr. Hoang Vu Duc - Lecturer, Faculty of Languages and International Cultures; along with Japanese Language students. On behalf of the Hiroshima - Vietnam Peace and Friendship Association were Ms. Sakai Makiko - President, Mr. Sakai Katsuhiko - an Association member, and a Vietnamese student studying at Hiroshima. The meeting also had the honor of welcoming Mr. Akio Mamada - CEO of Southern Breeze Joint Stock Company.
Commencing the session, Dr. Vo Van Thanh Than made a welcome speech and introduced the UEF's current curriculum, emphasizing international operations, especially the Internship program in Japan. Hiroshima - Vietnam Peace and Friendship Association representative expressed his anticipation of joining hands between two cities (Hiroshima and Ho Chi Minh) via students going abroad for travel, cultural, and academic exchanges. Thus, this contributes to a bigger goal, which is boosting the friendship between the two nations.

After going through an overview session, the international delegation visited UEF's campus and experienced the modern facilities that the University equips students for the learning and training process.

Moreover, the delegation joined a class of Japanese language major UEFers which is operated by a native lecturer. The classroom atmosphere became more exciting. UEFers enthusiastically interacted with the overseas students and members of the Hiroshima - Vietnam Peace and Friendship Association.

Resuming the working session, students of UEF were given the chance to discuss jobs and internships, as well as study opportunities in Hiroshima with Mr. Akiko Mamada. The Southern Breeze’s CEO showed his friendliness and consideration to UEFers by making most remarks in Vietnamese. This kind gesture brought out the confidence in UEFers and encouraged them to voice out and ask more questions to the business representative.

UEF has successfully connected with another reputable partner to meet the need to promote international activities in Japan in the coming time. Hopefully, many programs will soon be designed and implemented, so that UEFers can experience and get more practical lessons in developed countries as soon as possible.
