1.Introduction to the training program

The high-quality training program for Logistics and Supply Chain Management (LSCM) at the University of Economics and Finance Ho Chi Minh City (UEF) was established in 2019 and is managed by the Faculty of Economics (Decision No. 126/QD-UEF dated May 13, 2019). The first cohort of students enrolled in 2019. Annually, the program is reviewed and updated based on feedback from students and employers, and is evaluated and approved by the Scientific Council.
  1. Overall objective
The Bachelor of Logistics and Supply Chain Management program aims to train graduates with a career orientation, possessing political and professional ethics, good health; comprehensive and in-depth knowledge of Logistics and Supply Chain Management compatible with international integration trends, sustainable development, and digital transformation; the ability to think independently and creatively to meet the requirements of the international labor market, with a global citizenship orientation; a sense of responsibility to society and the community; and a solid knowledge foundation for further study and research at higher levels.
  1. Specific objectives
  • PO1 (Knowledge). Provides learners with fundamental knowledge of natural and social sciences, political science, and law; foundational and in-depth knowledge of Logistics and Supply Chain Management compatible with the national institutional environment; application of knowledge to address requirements for receiving and systematizing the flow of goods, finance, and information; and decision-making in the field of Logistics and Supply Chain Management; and necessary supplementary knowledge to meet job requirements.
  • PO2 (Skills). Equipping and training learners with practical professional skills in planning, operating, and controlling logistics activities at intermediary units in the supply chain in diverse cultural contexts; applying specialized and interdisciplinary knowledge to solve real-world problems; communication, teamwork, and global integration skills.
  • PO3 (Level of Autonomy and Responsibility). This program aims to cultivate and develop in learners a sense of professional ethics and community responsibility; the ability to think independently, creatively, and collaboratively in learning, research, and work; adaptability to a multicultural and integrated work environment; and a global citizenship orientation.
  1. Job opportunities
Graduates in Logistics and Supply Chain Management can take on the following positions:
  • The specialist forecasts demand, plans organizational resources, procures inputs, establishes production and operational plans, and distributes sales.
  • Route planning specialist, freight forwarder, sales logistics specialist.
  • Purchasing manager, warehouse manager, container manager, vehicle fleet manager, transportation operations manager, port operations manager.
  • We specialize in advising on cargo handling solutions, processing returns, providing customs support, and assisting with documentation and bills of lading.
  •  We specialize in providing consulting services for optimal logistics solutions, sustainable supply chains, and digital transformation solutions for logistics businesses.
