Students from Christ University (India) memories after their international exchange program at UEF

On the morning of January 23rd, the Faculty of Economics held the closing ceremony of the international student exchange program “Student exchange - Expand Your Horizons - Experience a New Culture”, concluding a meaningful learning and experiential journey between UEF students and a delegation of students from Christ University (India).

The ceremony was attended by Dr. Vipra Pandey - Consul General of India in Ho Chi Minh City. Representing Christ University, the program welcomed Dr. Avichal Sharma - Assistant Professor, School of Sciences, along with 16 students. Representing UEF were Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc - Vice Rector, the Dean's Board, and the faculty of the Faculty of Economics.

The exchange program with Christ University students concluded with many valuable lessons and memorable moments.

Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Vipra Pandey, Consul General of India in Ho Chi Minh City, emphasized the value of international exchange programs in promoting cultural understanding, strengthening educational connections, and contributing to consolidating cooperative relations between Vietnam and India.

Representatives from both schools also expressed their emotion at witnessing the students completing the program with much new knowledge, beautiful memories of Vietnamese culture and cuisine, and especially the cross-border friendships that were formed. 

Representatives from both universities extended their best wishes to the students as they learn new knowledge and experience new cultures.

The atmosphere at the closing ceremony became warm as student groups from UEF and Christ University shared their feelings after the 7-day journey, each group speaking in turn about a valuable lesson, something they appreciated, and something they took with them after the program ended.

Besides the concluding remarks, students from both schools also participated in musical performances and exchanged commemorative gifts as a token of gratitude and a testament to the strong bond forged after a week of studying and experiencing together.

During their 7-day study and exchange program at UEF, students from both sides participated in a variety of enriching activities such as: visiting the Ao Dai Museum, learning Vietnamese and intercultural communication, exploring Ho Chi Minh City, practical learning at Cat Lai Port and Lazada, and workshops on entrepreneurship, innovation, global business management, and adaptive leadership in the digital economy of emerging markets.

Certificates were awarded to students who completed the program.

We believe that the lessons and experiences at UEF will contribute to helping Christ University students continue their academic journey more successfully. UEF will also implement many exchange programs and international cooperation activities to create a global learning environment for students.
