UEF welcomes a delegation of students from Christ University, India, for study and cultural exchange.

On the afternoon of January 17th, UEF welcomed a delegation of students from Christ University (India) and officially launched  the "Student Exchange: Expand Your Horizons - Experience a New Culture" program . This is an international student exchange program that contributes to expanding the multicultural learning environment and strengthening academic connections between students from different countries.

The program will open up a wealth of learning, cultural, and business experience opportunities for students.

According to the plan, the program will last for one week with a series of learning activities, exchanges, and practical experiences for students from both schools. Through this, learners will have the opportunity to access new perspectives on culture, education, and the work environment in the context of increasingly deep international integration.

Attending and welcoming the Christ University student delegation were Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc - Vice Rector of the University, Dr. Majo George - Head of the Faculty of Economics, Dr. Nguyen Kim Thoa - Vice Director of the International Institute, Dr. Tang My Ha - Deputy Head of the Faculty of Economics, Dr. Do Thi Thu Ha - Deputy Head of the Faculty of Economics, Ms. Nguyen Le Dong Xuan - Deputy Head of the Faculty of Economics, along with heads of departments and lecturers from the faculty. Representing Christ University (India) were Dr. Avichal Sharma - Assistant Professor at the School of Sciences Christ (Deemed to be University), Head of the delegation, and 16 students.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc extended a warm welcome to the international student delegation and provided an overview of UEF and its outstanding international cooperation activities over the years. He emphasized that UEF always focuses on building an open learning environment, creating opportunities for international students and UEF students to interact and learn from each other through short-term exchange programs.

Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc hopes that international students will have many interesting experiences in Vietnam.

Continuing his remarks, Dr. Majo George expressed his hope that the program would become a bridge helping students from both universities broaden their global thinking, hone their communication skills, and work in an international context. He affirmed that the faculty and students of UEF are always ready to accompany and support Christ University students to have meaningful learning and living experiences throughout their participation in the program.

Dr. Majo George emphasized the importance of international cooperation and exchange activities.

At the welcoming ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Duy Quang - Head of the Digital Economy Department - provided a detailed introduction to the program's content, schedule, and objectives. During the 7-day study and exchange program at UEF, students from both universities will participate in a variety of activities such as visiting the Ao Dai Museum, learning Vietnamese and intercultural communication, touring Ho Chi Minh City, gaining practical experience at Cat Lai Port and Lazada, and attending workshops on entrepreneurship, innovation, global business management, and adaptive leadership in the digital economy of emerging markets.

Representatives from the Faculty of Economics provided detailed information about the program and some important notes for international students.

The first day of meetings also created a space for international students and UEFers to get acquainted, form groups, and support each other in upcoming exchange activities. This is an important foundation for forming lasting connections, contributing to spreading the spirit of cooperation, openness, and respect for cultural differences within the student community.

Through the "Student Exchange - Expand Your Horizons - Experience a New Culture" program, students are promised valuable practical experiences. The school believes that the upcoming journey will leave many memorable impressions and useful lessons for students from both sides in their studies and personal development.
