As part of the international student exchange program “Student Exchange - Expand Your Horizons - Experience a New Culture” , on January 18th, UEF organized a series of cultural and academic experience activities for a delegation of students from Christ University (India). The program not only provided an opportunity to explore Vietnamese cultural identity but also created a practical learning environment, enhancing teamwork skills and academic thinking for students from both countries.
Accompanying the students were Dr. Majo George - Head of the Faculty of Economics, Dr. Do Thi Thu Ha - Deputy Head of the Faculty of Economics, and Dr. Nguyen Duy Quang - Head of the Digital Economics Department.

The first activities in a series of cultural and academic exchange programs for Christ University students.
Experience Vietnamese culture through a visit to the Ao Dai Museum.
To kick off the series of activities, international students participated in a tour of the Ao Dai Museum – a space that preserves and celebrates the traditional beauty of Vietnam's national costume. Here, they listened to presentations about the history and development of the Ao Dai, as well as the changes in style and materials associated with each socio-cultural period.
Besides learning about historical value, students also had the opportunity to visit and take photos with characteristic ao dai (Vietnamese traditional dress), thereby gaining a deeper appreciation for the refined beauty, elegance, and symbolic meaning of Vietnamese traditional attire. This activity contributed to helping international students gain a deeper understanding of local culture and created memorable experiences during their exchange program at UEF.
Capstone Project Work & Mentoring: Connecting academics, broadening global thinking.
Continuing its cultural activities, UEF organized the Capstone Project Work & Mentoring program – a key academic highlight of the exchange series. Here, Christ University students were divided into groups and worked on real-world case studies that they had randomly selected, focusing on analyzing and presenting the key aspects of each situation.
Through the presentations, the mentors provided direct feedback, guidance, and in-depth comments, helping students refine their analytical thinking, problem-solving approaches, and presentation skills. These comments formed a crucial foundation for the groups to better prepare for their final presentations scheduled for February 22nd.
These activities have helped Indian students broaden their understanding of Vietnamese culture, while also creating an open academic environment that encourages multi-faceted exchange and the development of global competencies. Through this, UEF continues to promote international connections and comprehensive learning experiences for students in the context of integration.
