Students learn about the cargo transportation process at Tan Cang Port - STC.
At Tan Cang - STC, students begin with a challenging supply chain management simulation game. The activity requires them to role-play as four key components: the factory, the distribution center, the wholesaler, and the retailer. The challenge is to build a cost-optimized supply chain under conditions of no communication between links and facing fixed order lead times. Through calculating warehousing costs and managing the flow of goods, students gain a clear understanding of the pressure to maintain stability in a real-world supply chain.
