FBA Equips 2023 Students For Internship Success With Workplace Preparation Workshop

On the morning of August 5, the Faculty of Business Administration (FBA), in collaboration with the Center for Corporate Relations, organized the "Workplace Preparation – Ready for Work" workshop. Designed for 2023-cohort students preparing for their internship period in October 2026, the program provided essential guidance on internships and graduation projects, helping students confidently transition into the professional workplace.

The workshop was attended by Dr. Ly Dan Thanh, Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration; Dr. Huynh Nhut Nghia, Vice Dean; M.Sc. Nguyen Ngoc Thuy Tien, Vice Dean; M.Sc. Tran Hoang Nam, Vice Dean; Dr. Nguyen Phuoc Thien, Head of the Business Administration Program; and M.Sc. Nguyen Thi Kim Loan, Deputy Director of the Center for Corporate Relations.

The workshop provided students with essential guidance for a successful internship journey.

The program aimed to help students understand the internship process, choose between a graduation project and a thesis, and familiarize themselves with the requirements, procedures, and key considerations before entering the internship phase.

During the workshop, Dr. Nguyen Phuoc Thien introduced several common internship positions, including Sales Intern, Business Development Intern, and Account Management Intern. In addition to explaining each role, he analyzed the job responsibilities, required competencies, and career prospects, enabling students to better understand the professional environment and select opportunities aligned with their career goals.

Alongside career orientation, representatives from the Faculty of Business Administration and the Center for Corporate Relations provided detailed guidance on internship procedures, covering the registration process, internship placement, and requirements for internship reports, graduation projects, and graduation theses. Important information regarding timelines, implementation procedures, and assessment criteria was also clarified, allowing students to prepare thoroughly for this important academic milestone.

The workshop also introduced the Mock Interview and Job Fair program, which offers students opportunities to practice interview skills, build confidence, and connect directly with employers. Through these activities, students can enhance their employability, secure suitable internship opportunities, and expand their career prospects after graduation.
