UEF marks 8 charity years by supporting Central Highlands children

Continuing the community spirit of the “Am tinh UEF” program, this year UEF visited the former Dak Nong Province (now Lam Dong Province) and Dak Lak Province to bring care and support to children in difficult circumstances. The activity took place from November 22 to November 23 and was organized by the UEF Charity Association to celebrate its meaningful 8th anniversary.
Joining the trip were Dr. Ngo Minh Hai, Vice President of UEF, along with association members who are UEF staff, lecturers, and employees. Together, they created a memorable journey.

At the Nha May Manh Social Support Center (in the former Dak Nong Province), which is caring for nearly 270 disadvantaged students and young people, including children with disabilities, the UEF Charity Association organized an exchange activity with the children. The association also donated 1 ton of rice and essential supplies worth 30 million VND. In addition, the organizers provided 30 million VND to support the center’s ongoing care for the children.

At the Teresa Ethnic Boarding Home (Dak Lak Province), which is caring for 240 children from ethnic minority families in difficult circumstances, the UEF Charity Association organized an exchange activity with the children. They also held the “Compassionate Meal” program worth 55 million VND, donated 1 ton of rice and essential supplies worth 30 million VND, and provided 31 million VND to support the home’s ongoing care for the children.
 
The total donated amount for the program’s two locations was nearly 200 million VND.
The total budget for the “Am tinh UEF” program (8th edition, 2025) was nearly 200 million VND, donated and contributed by UEF members and many sponsors.
“Am tinh UEF” is an annual activity that receives strong support, donations, and active participation from UEF lecturers and staff, promoting a spirit of sharing and spreading a positive community image. Through the program, the UEF Charity Association celebrated a new milestone and set a goal to carry out more meaningful activities that bring positive value to society.
