In the joyful atmosphere of the Mid-Autumn season, the UEF Faculty of Information Technology (FIT) came together for a loving volunteer journey through the charity program “Moonlight Night for Children,” held on October 2 at Ky Quang 2 Pagoda (Ho Chi Minh City). This was one of the meaningful Mid-Autumn volunteer activities, and also a sincere message about sharing, community responsibility, and the human values that FIT teachers and students always uphold.
The FIT community brought joy to little hearts.
The program was joined by Ms. Hoang Thi Hang (MSc.), Assistant to the Head of the Faculty of Information Technology, along with lecturers, staff, and students. The atmosphere became warm and touching as Mid-Autumn gifts were handed directly to orphaned and disabled children at the pagoda.
One hundred gift sets—including cakes, candy, lanterns, and essential items such as rice, milk, and instant noodles—were meaningful presents filled with sincere care, helping the children feel the community’s support and protection.

Human values were spread through the hearts of young people.
“Moonlight Night for Children” was a time for the children to receive love, and at the same time, a meaningful lesson in sharing for UEF students. By preparing, organizing, and personally giving the gifts, each student understood more clearly the value of giving, learned to appreciate life, and developed empathy for people in difficult situations. This activity helped build social responsibility, encouraged kindness in students, and strengthened the belief that they can also be a positive force in the community.

Together, they captured beautiful and meaningful memories in the Mid-Autumn season.
For the FIT community, volunteering is a long-term journey of nurturing positive values. This program once again showed the unity and social responsibility of lecturers and students in spreading love and care. As a result, the Mid-Autumn night at Ky Quang 2 Pagoda became warm and full of kindness, bringing more hope to those less fortunate.
