[Olympic UEF 2026] Tug-of-war event reveals "warriors" advancing to the Finals
On the evening of April 6, the semi-finals of the tug-of-war event at Olympic 2026 for both the mixed men's and women's and the women's team categories took place dramatically, delivering tense and emotionally charged competitions.
In the mixed men's and women's category, the Faculty of Information Technology demonstrated overwhelming strength by securing a 2-0 victory against the Faculty of Public Relations and Communication, thereby becoming the first team to secure a spot in the Finals. Meanwhile, the Faculty of Law also showed an impressive performance by defeating the Faculty of English with a score of 2-0, officially writing their name into the final match.

In the women's category, the competition atmosphere was equally fierce. The Faculty of Information Technology continued to show stable form by defeating the Faculty of Business Administration 2-0 to claim a ticket to the Finals. The remaining semi-final match witnessed a breakthrough by the Faculty of Public Relations and Communication as they overcame the Faculty of Law with the same score of 2-0, completing the list of the two strongest teams.

The two semifinal matches in the women's tug-of-war category took place with intense competition.
Thus, in both categories, the most outstanding names have officially been revealed. In the mixed category, the Final will be a showdown between the Faculty of Information Technology and the Faculty of Law, while the third-place match will take place between the Faculty of Public Relations and Communication and the Faculty of English.
Regarding the women's category, the Faculty of Information Technology will clash with the Faculty of Public Relations and Communication in the Final, whereas the Faculty of Business Administration and the Faculty of Law will compete for third place.
