To promote the scientific research movement and encourage students to apply professional knowledge to practical problem-solving, on the morning of July 2, the Faculty of Information Technology successfully organized the Student Scientific Research Conference for the 2025–2026 academic year, with the participation of the Faculty's Board of Management, lecturers, and numerous students.
This year, the conference gathered 15 research topics divided into two reporting sessions: the E-commerce session and the Technology - Science - Design interdisciplinary session. These topics reflected prominent contemporary technology trends, ranging from artificial intelligence (AI), data science, cybersecurity, and software engineering to digital transformation in businesses and e-commerce.

The Faculty of Information Technology's 2025–2026 Student Scientific Conference highlighted a wide array of research projects with significant practical applications.
In his opening remarks, Dr. Nguyen Ha Giang - Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology - highly praised the serious and proactive research spirit of the students, noting their ability to apply interdisciplinary knowledge to identify problems, build solutions, and deploy highly applicable research models. He also encouraged students to effectively leverage AI tools in their scientific research, while emphasizing that AI only plays a supporting role, whereas analytical thinking, critical capabilities, and the researcher's judgment remain the decisive factors for the value of a scientific work.

In the interdisciplinary session, research groups focused on various themes such as developing management systems for educational activities, applying AI and RAG models in cybersecurity data analysis, utilizing Graph Neural Networks and Transformers in finance, designing UI/UX targeted at Gen Z users, building Power BI data analysis dashboards, as well as ERP solutions supporting business and supply chain management.
Meanwhile, the E-commerce session brought forward research closely aligned with digital business trends, covering topics such as user experience in online payment, consumer behavior on TikTok Shop and Livestream Commerce, Influencer Marketing, personal branding on digital platforms, applying gamification in social networks, and optimizing e-commerce operational models for businesses.

During the conference, individual students and student groups sequentially presented their research results before the Professional Council while directly answering critical questions from lecturers. In-depth feedback from the Council not only helped the groups refine their research content but also laid the groundwork for further development, aiming toward participation in larger-scale scientific research conferences and competitions.
