As a co-organizer alongside the Stellar Development Foundation (SDF) and the Web3 education platform Rise In, UEF continues to clearly demonstrate its role as a bridge between the university environment and the global technology ecosystem, contributing to the promotion of innovation and the development of high-quality human resources in the blockchain field.

The event showcased an array of high-potential tech projects alongside key international partnership milestones established by UEF.
Stellar APAC Hackathon is known as a large-scale programming competition within the Stellar ecosystem across the Asia-Pacific region. Specifically in Vietnam, the event gathered numerous programmers, tech developers, and startup teams to compete and showcase blockchain application solutions aimed at solving practical problems in finance and everyday life.

Student participants and competing teams engaged and networked with industry experts and the broader blockchain development community.
The atmosphere at Vietnam Demo Day was lively. Teams sequentially presented products developed on the Stellar network with an orientation toward solving current practical market demands.
The projects were built around three major themes:
Local Finance & Real-World Access: Focusing on real-world asset tokenization solutions and addressing specific financial challenges in individual regions.
DeFi & Ecosystem Composability: Aiming to optimize connection and compatibility capabilities among financial protocols on the Stellar blockchain platform.
Payment & Consumer Applications: Where teams developed cross-border payment solutions, electronic wallets, and user-friendly, accessible Web3 applications.

Each presentation clearly demonstrated technological thinking, problem-solving capabilities, and market-oriented product approaches. After presenting, the teams participated in Q&A sessions with the jury panel to defend their ideas, clarify feasibility, and listen to professional feedback to refine their products.
Taking on the role of judges at the competition were experts operating in the blockchain and Web3 fields, including Ms. Tiffany Hoang - Stellar Vietnam Chapter Lead, Mr. Nhat Minh - Stellar Vietnam DevRel Chapter Lead, Mr. Louis Nguyen - Chainlink Community Manager, and Mr. Percy Chau - Investment Analyst at Spartan Advisor. Accompanying and cheering on the teams was Ms. Hoang Thi Hang - Assistant to the Dean of the UEF Faculty of Information Technology.

Industry experts asked probing questions and offered technical guidance following the competing teams' presentations.
After a bustling day of work featuring numerous quality projects, the Stellar APAC Hackathon - Vietnam Demo Day 2026 successfully concluded, recording many high-potential technology ideas that reflect the strong development of the blockchain community in Vietnam.
As a co-organizing unit, UEF carefully prepared facilities, venues, operating conditions, and logistics to contribute to a professional, modern competitive space meeting the requirements of a regional-scale technology event.
Co-traveling with the Stellar Development Foundation and Rise In in organizing Vietnam Demo Day has helped UEF enhance connections with international organizations, businesses, and technology communities. Through large-scale academic, research, and innovation activities, the University gradually expands practical experiential environments, helping students access new technology trends, develop creative thinking, and enhance integration capabilities right from their time in lecture halls.
