UEF Students Gain Practical Experience and Career Orientation at FPT Software - Campus FTown3

To provide students with opportunities to access corporate reality and career orientation in the technology sector, UEF organized a field trip to FPT Software - Campus FTown3, one of the leading high-tech zones in Vietnam. The visit not only offered practical experiences but also opened up new perspectives on career opportunities in the digital era for students.

Right from stepping into Campus FTown3, the UEF student delegation was surprised by the scale and modernity of the high-tech zone. After a detailed introduction to FPT Software’s layout, students had the chance to directly visit modernly designed workspaces where creativity and innovation are maximized.

A special highlight of the tour was the area simulating the Mekong Delta river region, a unique cultural space located right within the heart of the technology corporation. The harmonious combination of Vietnamese cultural identity and an international working environment left a deep impression on students regarding FPT's philosophy of sustainable development.

During this visit, UEFers also heard stories about the history and significance of the high-tech zones at FPT Software. Since its early days, the high-tech zone has transformed from a desolate area into one of the most modern locations in the city.

Next, a Mini Workshop took place featuring the main speaker, Mr. Tran Ngoc Tuan from FPT Software. In a joyful and open atmosphere, Mr. Ngoc Tuan shared valuable information about FPT Software: "FPT Software's culture is to understand and care for customers." This orientation guides every activity and decision of the company. UEF students were introduced to the two main sectors of FPT Software—services and products—along with the corporation's diverse ecosystem. From software development and technology consulting to comprehensive digital transformation solutions, FPT Software has affirmed its pioneering position in many fields.

The career counseling section provided students with practical advice. Mr. Ngoc Tuan shared: "Each job position has a different workload and salary level, so you need to clearly understand market demands." This message helped students better understand how to prepare skills that align with recruitment trends.

Furthermore, Mr. Ngoc Tuan emphasized: "Besides professional skills, we are also very interested in your soft skills." This shows that alongside a foundation of specialized knowledge, skills such as teamwork, communication, critical thinking, and adaptability are also extremely important.

The Q&A session was lively, with many questions from students regarding the working environment, development opportunities, and recruitment requirements. Students expressed excitement about the dynamic working environment at FPT Software. At the end of the workshop, the representative of FPT Software invited students to participate in internship programs, fresher courses, and official recruitment.
