MBA Capstone Projects at UEF Reflect Practical Management Perspectives of Businesse and Organization

JANUARY 28, the UEF Graduate Education Institute organized the Master’s thesis defense council for Business Administration students of the 2024 cohort. The session demonstrated strong academic commitment while clearly reflecting management issues currently faced by businesses, organizations, and the public sector.

UEF congratulated Business Administration students of the 2024 cohort for successfully defending their capstone projects. 

The council consisted of Associate Professors and Doctors with extensive experience in teaching, research, and management consulting. The process was conducted rigorously, in accordance with graduate education standards, enabling students to present their research methodologies, findings, and practical solutions relevant to their case organizations.

This session stood out for the diversity of approached research topics. Many studies focused on areas including human resource management, finance - banking operations, digital transformation, customer behavior, and public service quality.

Several projects examined human resource challenges within large organizations, including banks, state-owned enterprises, service companies, etc. Research on improving training systems and developing the quality of human resources provided practical perspectives supported by detailed survey data and analyses of each organization’s operation contexts.

Research topics covered multiple fields and closely reflected real-world management issues.

In the finance - banking field, research topics on personal customer credit growth, online banking service quality, relationship marketing, and customer loyalty well highlighted the growing competitive pressure and the need for business models innovation in the digital era.

Notably, some studies had directly addressed the impact of digital marketing and artificial intelligence (AI) on consumer purchasing behavior in Ho Chi Minh City, demonstrating graduate students’ ability to stay updated with new trends.

The council highly evaluated projects that showed strong applicability to management practices, aligning with the training orientation of Master by Coursework program. Through academic discussions and debates, the council provided thorough feedback on research approaches, methodologies, and potential directions for future studies.

The council provided academic feedback and professional recommendations for each research project.

Following thorough evaluation, all projects met the learning outcome standards of the Master of Business Administration program and were officially approved by the council, marking the end of graduate academic journey for the 2024 cohort at UEF.

UEF congratulates all students on successfully defending their capstone projects and believes that the knowledge and experiences gained throughout the program will serve as a solid foundation for their future professional development.
