Continuing its mission to equip students with scientific research (SR) knowledge and skills, UEF Faculty of Law organized the second workshop on “Research Methods and Skills for Law Students” on the afternoon of NOVEMBER 6, with the participation of Dr. Tran Vang Phu, Vice Dean, Faculty of Law. In addition to providing valuable insights, he offered direct guidance and feedback to student project groups.
The workshop provided students with valuable insights to help them develop their scientific research projects
During the workshop, Dr. Tran Vang Phu guided students on defining the scope of their research, including the content, timeframe, and context of their projects, ensuring alignment with the project title, target subjects, and research objectives. He also provided a detailed explanation of the structure of a scientific research project, helping students understand the logical connections between sections and how to present their work in a systematic and persuasive manner.
Dr. Tran Vang Phu provided direct guidance and feedback on each student’s research project
Going beyond theory, Dr. Tran Vang Phu dedicated time to provide specific feedback to each student group based on their ongoing projects. Every critique and suggestion helped students gain deeper insights into the practicality, feasibility, and academic value of their topics. As a result, students not only refined their research outputs but also strengthened their critical thinking, analytical skills, and legal reasoning which are essential competencies in the field of law.
This workshop represents an important continuation of the Faculty of Law’s academic activities at UEF, fostering a spirit of research, exploration, and creativity among students. With the dedicated guidance of faculty members, students are increasingly confident in their journey to master knowledge and develop advanced research competencies.
