UEF partners with Mokpo National University to boost student exchange and research collaboration

APRIL 8 - UEF held a meeting with Mokpo National University (MNU), one of the prestigious public universities in South Korea. This event marks a significant step in expansding UEF's global partnership network as well as unlocking various academic and scientific opportunities for faculty members and UEFers.
Representing MNU were Mrs. Younghee Cheri Lee, Deputy Director of the International Cooperation Office and Mr. Min Jo, Coordinator of the International Cooperation Office. The event honorably had the presence of Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc, Vice President; Ms. Pham Thuy Linh, Deputy Dean of Faculty of the Languages and International Cultures; Dr. Nguyen Kim Thoa, Deputy Director of the International Institute; and Dr. Kim Du Won, faculty member of the Korean Language.
The meeting opened up numerous future prospects to strengthen the partnership between UEF and MNU
During the meeting, the two parties discussed collaborative orientation for the upcoming time,  focusing particularly on student mobility and scientific research collaboration. MNU’s representatives also provided details about the mobility programs for UEFers in South Korea, including professional information, the academic environment, and opportunity to approach the modern educational system.

The meeting opened up various future prospects for strengthening the sustainable partnerships between the two universities. In the future, UEFers will have more opportunities to participate in study and exchange programs at MNU. At the same time, faculty members from both institutions will have the chance to collaborate on multidisciplinary research projects, yielding valuable academic and practical applications.
With its focus on the internationalization of education, UEF continuously expands its global partnerships, bringing UEFers closer to advanced knowledge systems and multicultural learning environments.
