Professor Philip Kotler (the world's most renowned marketing professor – the "father" of modern marketing) stated:  "Marketing is the process of creating value from customers and building close relationships with them in order to generate profit for the business or organization from the value created."

Admission requirements:

You can pursue a degree in Marketing in one of four ways:

 

Admission methods Subject combinations for admission
Admission is based on the results of the high school graduation exam.
- Graduated from high school in the 2023 high school graduation exam.
- Admission scores are determined according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.
Admission based on 12th grade academic transcripts.
- High school graduate
- The average score of 3 subjects in the 12th grade academic results must be 18.0 or higher for university-level programs.
Admission is based on the average score of 3 semesters of high school transcripts
- High school graduation - The average score of 3 semesters (Semester 1, Semester 2 of 11th grade, Semester 1 of 12th grade) must be 18.0 or higher. 
 
Admission is based on the results of the National University of Ho Chi Minh City's aptitude test
: - High school diploma or equivalent;
- Participation in the 2023 aptitude test organized by the National University of Ho Chi Minh City and achieving a score at or above the minimum admission score set by UEF;

Attractive scholarships:

In 2023 , UEF will award various scholarships to candidates applying to the university through different methods:
 

Scholarship High school graduation exam scores (Combination of 3 subjects) National University's aptitude test scores Grade 12 transcript scores 
(combination of 3 subjects)
High school transcript scores for 3 semesters Maintenance conditions (on a 4.0 scale)
100% From 27 to 30  From 1080 to under 1200 From 29 to 30 From 29 to 30 - Cumulative GPA of 3.7 or higher each year
- 50% scholarship for GPA from 3.5 to below 3.7
- 25% scholarship for GPA from 3.3 to below 3.5
- Academic performance evaluation score of 65 or higher
Candidates must have a foreign language certificate: IELTS 7.0 or higher.
50% From 25 to under 27 From 960 to under 1080 From 26.5 to under 29 From 26.5 to under 29  Cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher each year
- A 25% scholarship is awarded for GPAs between 3.3 and below 3.5

- Academic performance evaluation score of 65 or higher
Candidates must have a foreign language certificate: IELTS 6.5 or higher.
25% From 22 to under 25 From 840 to under 960 From 25 to under 26.5 From 25 to under 26.5 Cumulative GPA of 3.3 or higher each year
- Academic performance evaluation score of 65 or higher.
Candidates must have a foreign language certificate: IELTS 6.0 or higher.

 

Example:  A candidate wishing to apply for a  Marketing major in university using the 2022 National High School Examination results  with the subject combination (Mathematics, Physics, English). To receive a 25% scholarship , the candidate must meet the following condition: (Mathematics score + Physics score + English score) ≥  22.
