To create a space for exchange and connection among researchers in the fields of economics and commerce, UEF will collaborate with the Southern Affairs Department of the Ministry of Science and Technology and Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) to organize the national scientific conference "Economics and Business in the Digital Age" CEBD 2024 on April 25th. The program will take place at 7:30 AM at the Liberty Hall, UEF - 15th floor , 141 Dien Bien Phu campus.
The teachers and lecturers will attend the National Scientific Conference on April 25th at UEF.
Researchers will gather at the Conference to share and exchange ideas on prominent economic, financial, trade, and tourism issues in the context of the new era, in line with the theme - Economics and Business in the Digital Age. Another important aspect of the Conference is the focus on discussing solutions and ideas in research to promote digital transformation towards a successful digital economy.
To date, the Conference Organizing Committee has received more than 130 scientific research papers from authors of over 35 domestic and international institutions. Given this large number of research papers, the expert panel held a working session to carefully review and select the most compelling topics with high scientific value to be published in the Conference Proceedings and a special issue of the Journal of Development and Integration.

UEF focuses on investing in scientific research activities every year.
The conference is expected to last until the end of the morning with three main sessions: the plenary session, the networking session, and the subcommittee reporting sessions.
In the plenary session, researchers will listen to presentations on the scientific research of Professor Andreas Stoffers - Director of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom (FNF) in Vietnam, on the topic " Economic Dynamics in a Digital World: Vietnam's Perspective ," and Associate Professor Dr. Tran Manh Ha - Deputy Director of the Software Technology Park, on the topic " Practices of Digital Transformation in Education .
" The networking session will feature the projection of electronic posters. Conference participants will discuss and share their perspectives. The remaining sessions will be divided into six subcommittees. Authors will take turns presenting their research on topics such as business administration, digital economy, digital society, finance and accounting, trade and tourism, digital marketing, etc.
The research community will come together to share knowledge and discuss many fascinating topics in the digital age.
At the conference, the organizing committee will directly select and award prizes in two categories: Best Paper Award and Best Poster Award, to outstanding authors and research projects as judged by the expert panel. The
UEF Science and Technology and International Projects Department extends an invitation to all UEF faculty members interested in the above topic and passionate about scientific research to attend. This conference will be an environment for faculty members to network, accumulate new knowledge, and further motivate their research.
