[Canada] Scholarships for International students at Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology 2016

Located in the east end of Ottawa, Algonquin College attracts over 18.000 students including international students from 100 countries. Algonquin College teaching program innovated in the highly practical standard helps students gain practical knowledge when studying here. The college has a diverse range of majors meeting every student’s need such as Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Marketing, Tourism and Travel – Hotels, Building Science, Information Technology, Education, Nursing, Interior Decorating, Hair Stylist, Journalism, etc. 

Algonquin College is offering up to 16 Entrance Scholarships for Fall 2016 intake. These scholarships will be based on academic merit of international students. 

Study Subject(s): Scholarships is awarded in all the subjects available at the university.

Scholarship Award: Each successful student will receive $3000.

Eligibility:

•    Student must be an international student, paying full international student fees and not receiving any other scholarships or bursaries.
•    Student must be received to study in Fall 2016 intake. 
•    English language requirements: TOEFL/IELTS

•    Completed scholarship application form
•    500-word personal statement explaining how and why student chose their field of study and what skills, knowledge and contribution they bring to the program and to Algonquin College
•    Copy of Academic Transcripts
•    Copy of IELTS or TOEFL scores
