Learning opportunities for International Business students majors with Leeds Trinity University

NOVEMBER 11 -  UEF hosted a working session with Leeds Trinity University (LTU). Many issues were brought to the table, such as expanding educational cooperation, promoting study experience for students of International Bachelor’s programmes.
 

The two parties had a discussion about students’ curricula

The meeting featured Ms. Huynh Tu Anh and Ms. Tran Phuong Quynh – Deputy Directors and Mr. Hoang Tran Quang Duong – Head of Academic Operation, from UEF International Institute.

Representing Leeds Trinity, Mr. Sam Booth-Malone – Director of Academic Quality and Standards, Ms. Lisa Williams – Director of Global Engagement, Dr. Katie Lupton – Lead for Academic International Partnerships, and Mr. Nam Pham – SE Asia Regional Manager Noble Solutions participated in the meeting.

MS. Lisa Williams mentioned several issues related to student quality advancement

At the working session, having a discussion on the curricula, representatives of the two universities aimed to offer students a suitable international learning environment, assess as well as reviewing co-teaching classes of UEF - LTU and other international partners, and open up more possibilities of cooperation with LTU on such collaborative academic programmes as Business Administration, Fintech, Marketing and so forth.

Students’ inquiries relating to degrees or difficulties faced while studying international collaborative programmes are also the two universities’ priority concerns.

 

​​​​​​Students studying UK Bachelor’s programmes had an opportunity to meet Leeds Trinity’s leadership team 


Subsequently, International Business majors (level 3 and level 5) had a meeting with Ms. Lisa Williams, where they discussed curricula, listened to the introduction to course contents, and got their questions about mandatory subjects addressed. Besides, Ms. Lisa Williams mentioned post-graduation career prospects and cleared students’ queries about the international collaborative programmes.

 

The LTU representative provided students with information on the university, curricula, job opportunities, etc.

The working session ended successfully, promising more quality international academic programmes for students to come. At present, the two parties maintain a close and effective cooperation on the Bachelor’s programme in International Business.

Leeds Trinity University (LTU) is ranked in the top 10 of all UK universities for Teaching Quality and Student Experience (according to The Times University League Table). Notably, the courses of Business - Finance always receive the great level of satisfaction from 81% to 100% based on the UK students’ survey. Furthermore, LTU has been one of the UK’s leading universities for employability  for many consecutive years.
