New Academic Year, New Horizons: UEF Students Start Exciting Internships Abroad

SEPTEMBER 5 - On a late-night trip, four UEF students arrived in Japan safely. They are the first group to embark on the international internship program of the new academic year, 2023 - 2024. UEFers are hoping to gain fresh experiences, learn priceless lessons, and strengthen their Japanese language skills during the next six months.

Four more UEFers obtained internship-abroad opportunities

Third-year Japanese Language students taking part in this trip were Hoang Ngan, Truong Thi Ngoc Tien, Phuong Tien Huy, and Le Minh Thong. The see-off at the airport honored the attendance of Dr. Vo Van Thanh Than - Dean, Faculty of Languages and International Cultures; Dr. Nguyen Hong Nhung - Deputy Director, UEF International Institute; along with several faculty members and students' families and friends.

Lecturers, families, and close friends gave farewells to UEFers on their trip to Japan

In this internship at Kyukamura Urabandai restaurant, students will be assigned tasks in the hospitality management industry, namely: Room maintenance, Common and Camping areas sanitation, Kitchen assistance, Restaurant table services, etc.

The trip abroad grants UEFers valuable experiences

One of the highlights of the internship abroad program is the chance for students to fully engage in indigenous culture and learn to prepare Japanese cuisine firsthand. More importantly, it is the opportunity to exchange cultures and practice Japanese with the locals.

UEF is actively seeking partners to operate more practical international programs. By encountering foreign cultures, students will strengthen their language skills and acquire helpful knowledge from friends around the world.
