Thailand: An international study destination in semester 1B

One of the most anticipated activities by UEFers every academic school year is the semester abroad, where students can study abroad, interact with students from many countries and discover diverse cultures.

Following the semester abroad programs in Spain, Korea, etc. In semester 1B of the academic year 2022 - 2023, UEF continues to cooperate with the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce (UTCC) to organize an international semester program in Thailand, taking place from November 7 to December 28, 2022. Students can register from now until September 25, 2022.

Semester abroad program in Thailand with many interesting activities

3 subjects in this semester abroad includes: Modern Innovation Technology, Entrepreneurs in International Business and Thai Language and Culture.

Moreover, students can also visit The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET), EGAT Learning Center, Thailand Cultural Center (TCC) and experience some other extra-curricular activities, such as Bangkok Tour - Sightseeing in Bangkok or Dinner Cruise - Chao Phraya River Cruise, Historical day trip to Ayutthaya - Learn about Thai history through a visit to the ancient capital of Ayutthaya, Discovery Thai - Mon lifestyle at Koh-Khet - Cycling tour on Koh Kret, a small island in the ChaoPhraya River, experience local food and traditional Thai desserts, visit a pottery village and experience pottery in person.

Do Dinh Thang - Alumnus of the class of 2020 majoring in International Business, shared: "The reason I chose this program was that I wanted to experience the feeling of studying in a new environment, especially abroad. The experience was worth it. What I missed the most was the overnight study nights at the UTCC library."

The University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce (UTCC) is a private university established by the Thai Chamber of Commerce in 1940. The school trains and grants degrees in Business Administration, Accounting and Business Administration. Mathematics, Economics, Humanities, Science, Media Arts, Engineering and Law.

UTCC International College was established in 2010. As it developed over time and expanded its scope of activities, in August 2019, the school decided to change its name to UTCC - International School of Management ( ISM). ISM operates an international program taught entirely in English at both the Undergraduate and Graduate levels.
