The aim of expanding international cooperation between UEF and Nakashibetsu’s officials (Japan)

MAY 24 - UEF had a meeting with representatives from Nakashibetsu, Hokkaido, Japan. Both sides exchanged ideas and aims to expand international cooperation and contribute to diversifying learning, internship, and working environments for students.

Partner representatives included Mr. Kanbara Seiji – Director, Economic Promotion Devision - Department of Economic Affairs, Nakashibetsu City; Mr. Yamashita Naoki – Head, Region Development and Management Committee of Economic Promotion Division - Department of Economic Affairs, Nakashibetsu City; Ms. Le Thi Luyen – Personnel, Economic Promotion Division – Department of Economic Affairs, Nakashibetsu City; Mr. Sasaki Hiroshi – Founder, U International Human and Ms. Le Thi Ngoc Tuyen – Director/Interpreter Assistant, U International Human.

On the UEF’s behalf, there were Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc – Vice President, Board of Management, and Director, UEF International Institute; Dr. Vo Van Thanh Than – Dean, Faculty of Languages and International Cultures; Mr. Huynh Quoc Phong – Director, Center of Corporate Partnerships and Ms. Huynh Tu Anh - Vice Director, UEF International Institute.

During the meeting, Ms. Huynh Tu Anh highlighted some key aspects of UEF including the facilities, training programs, learning environment, international partners, etc. Next, Dr. Vo Van Thanh Than presented in detail about the Department of Japanese Language as well as the international cooperation and internship programs being implemented in this field.

In response, the partners from Nakashinetsu expressed their desire to promote Nakashibetsu City images to many Vietnamese students. Accordingly, this is a place with many scenic spots and attractive tourism, with cutting-edge infrastructure, creating convenience in living and studying. After the Campus tour, realizing UEF's strengths in internationalization, the partner also hopes to welcome many students from UEF to study abroad here.
 

 Learning, internship and working environment-related issues are discussed


In addition, the representatives of Nakashibetsu also want to cooperate with UEF to organize seminars to spread information to a large number of students. 

UEF also showed goodwill by proposing to sign an MOA to expand international partnerships, providing more opportunities for students to study in developed countries. In the coming time, UEF will continue to work with many other partners to constantly diversify the international learning system for students.
