Leeds Trinity University (LTU) in the UK, one of UEF's important partners in the international bachelor's degree joint training program. The representatives of the two sides met on December 4 to map out the future collaboration.
The representative of LTU was Ms. Lisa Williams, Director of Global Engagement. On behalf of the UEF, there were Dr. Nguyen Hong Nhung, Ms. Tran Phuong Quynh, both are Deputy Directors of the UEF International Institute, and Mr. Hoang Tran Quang Duong, Head of International Academic Services.
At the meeting, two universities discussed renewing MOU and MOA, which cover the 2+2 and 3+1 articulation programs, implementing additional training in Marketing, co-teaching classes, scholarships, GPA, IELTS, and activities for students, such as seminars and talk shows.
Currently, UEF and LTU offer a joint degree program in International Business, which allows Vietnamese students to earn a UK-accredited bachelor's degree without having to travel to the UK. The diploma will be awarded by LTU and recognized in Vietnam and around the world.
DECEMBER 8, the 2019 intake of the UK Bachelor's programme in collaboration with LTU will officially graduate. The discussions during the meeting set the stage to clarify the details of the new cooperation agreement, which is expected to be finalized in the near future.
