AUGUST 7, UEF hosted a MOU signing ceremony with Asia University (Taiwan), marking a commitment to sustainable collaboration. Following the event, representatives from both universities delved deeper into potential collaborative programs. Additionally, Taiwanese students participated in an exchange session to learn more about UEF and Vietnam.

The ceremony featured the presence of Dr. Jeffrey JP Tsai - President; Dr. Charles C.N. Wang - Dean of Office of Industry Academia Collaboration; Dr. Chu Hsueh-Ting - Chairman of the Computer Science and Information Engineering; Dr. Ou Jen-Ho - Chairman of the Dept. of Finance, and 14 students from Asia University.
On the UEF side, there were Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc – Vice President and Director, UEF International Institute; Dr. Ngo Minh Hai – Vice President; Dr. Ha Thi Thuy – Dean, Faculty of Finance and Accounting; Dr. Nguyen Hong Nhung – Deputy Director, UEF International Institute; Dr. Van Thi Thien Trang – Deputy Dean, Faculty of Information Technology; Mr. Nguyen Viet Thuy – Deputy Dean, Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management, along with faculty members and students.
Prior to the signing ceremony, representatives from both universities exchanged greetings and provided an overview of their respective institutions. Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc presented the academic programs at UEF, highlighted key international initiatives, and expressed his desire for a fruitful collaboration with Asia University.

On behalf of the partner university, Mr. Jeffrey JP Tsai conveyed his positive impression of UEF, noting its as a young institution with a vibrant learning environment. He also provided an overview of Asia University, which ranked 3rd in Taiwan according to the 2024 Times Higher Education rankings and 14th in Asia in the 2024 QS World University Rankings.
