UEF x ACU (Australia) discuss the articulation and international programs

OCTOBER 4 - the UEF International Institute had a working session with the representatives from Australian Catholic University (ACU), Australia. The two universities had a discussion on the collaborative programs.

Attending the working session were Dr. Do Nguyen Huu Loc - Director, Dr. Nguyen Hong Nhung - Deputy Director, both from UEF International Institute and Ms. Chu Ngoc Anh Thu, UEF International Institute’s officer.

On behalf of ACU were Ms. Cherry Gan - Senior International Recruitment Manager Global and Education Pathways and Ms. Sonia Phuong Doan - Country Manager Vietnam.

During the working session, the representatives from UEF International Institute warmly greeted the partners. Dr. Do Huu Nguyen Loc also provided the system overview and opportunities for cooperation with UEF and other universities alliance.

Ms. Cherry Gan responded by introducing ACU. She shared that ACU always focuses on expanding international cooperation and acknowledged a great potential in Asia generally and in Vietnam particularly. The partner representative mentioned the opportunity for working with UEF in 2+2, 3+1, 4+0 articulation programs; short-term programs such as semester abroad, field trips.



Many collaboration agreements programs were discussed

Australian Catholic University (ACU National) is a public university funded by the Australian Government and established on January 1st, 1991. With over 150 years of educational tradition, ACU provides students with internationally acclaimed, high-quality degrees. The university is currently a house for students from over 75 different countries. ACU is placed in the top 3% of all universities globally, top 12 Catholic universities globally and 94% of its research projects reaching the standard.
 

This working session has promoted new learning opportunities for students from both universities. Additionally, the collaborative relationship between the two sides will contribute to strengthening the partnership between the two countries.
