AUGUST 18, continuing international exchange and connection activities, the Faculty of Languages and International Cultures organized a meeting with the student delegation from Kyungwoon University, Korea. Here, students had the opportunity to learn about the Vietnamese language and culture with the assistance of UEFers.
Representing the Faculty of Languages and International Culture was Ms. Pham Thi Thuy Linh – Deputy Dean. She also introduced Korean students to intriguing and valuable information about Vietnam. Besides UEFers, Dong Thap Province and Sejong Center students also joined the meeting.
The meeting on the morning of August 18 marked the beginning of the Kyungwoon students’ trip to UEF
From Kyungwoon University, there were Prof. Lee Seung Ho – Head of the Center of Corporate Relations delegation, Prof. Choi Min Ho – Deputy Head of the Center of Corporate Relations delegation, and Korean students participating in the entrepreneurial exchange in Vietnam.
Students were divided into small groups including both Korean and Vietnamese students to support each other during the session.
Ms. Pham Thi Thuy Linh introduced the Vietnamese language and culture to Korean students
Ms. Pham Thi Thuy Linh introduced them to the Vietnamese language and its origins and let them practice speaking Vietnamese. From basic sentences, she also shared some Vietnamese cultural aspects of communication.
The Korean students expressed their enthusiasm for learning a new language and proactively interacted with Vietnamese students. After their first session about Vietnamese culture and language, they will work in groups to come up with business ideas over the next five days.
Students interacted with each other and acquired many interesting lessons
It was informed that on August 23, UEF will sign an MOU with Kyungwoon University. Additionally, the summary session and presentation of business ideas of Korean students will take place on the same day.
